Last month I blogged about a new movie which will come out in the new future, called Bella you can read that post here
Well, a reader of the blog left this comment recently:
I attended a screening last Saturday at the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal's Catholic Underground, and "Bella" was AWESOME!! The crowd, though largely conservative Catholic gave "Bella" a 5 minute standing ovation. The producer discussed the film's religious symbolism, such as the main character's being a pregnant lady in a flowered dress, named Nina (Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to St Juan Diego, expecting Jesus, wearing a flowered dress, and he called her "nina" in Spanish) A compassionate man named Jose(Joseph) becomes a foster father in order to save a little girl's life: the undercurrent of this film is thoroughly Catholic. When the producer was asked if there was oppostion from the pro-death community, he said he was surprised that there didn't seem to be much oppostion, and that they had some prospects for distribution. Check my blog for the publicity I'll be doing for the movie, I signed up with the producer that night, as I feel this film is providential and will change lives.
So I encourage everybody to read cause nostrae laetitiae's blog to keep further updated on this seemingly excellent movie.

I saw this movie over the weekend and it was excellent. It was really moving the way Jose stayed with Nina all day and showed her a really nice family. Jose had some problems and this situation also helped him to come to terms with his past.
It's no accident they gave him the name Joseph. . .LOTS of Catholic symbolism just below the surface of this awesome movie.
